Introduction to multi-functionality and marginal data 

  •  Drawing process flow diagrams (group exercises)
  • Introduction to attributional and consequential modeling
    • Handling multi-functionality
    • Marginal versus average data
  • Group exercise to calculate the marginal French electricity mix

Excel modelling – hands on inventory and impact assessment

  • Simplified Hand drier case study on excel
  • Description of mid-point indicators
  • Results & Interpretation
  • Foreground & background data, data quality

  • What has not been shown? Towards advanced LCA (Land use changes, Premise, dynamic accounting, etc.).

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS : 

  • It is possible to get 4 ECTS points upon successful completion of the course.
  • Access to LCA software and database will be ensured during this summer school in specific computing rooms.
